I have...honest!
I finished Claire's Corset,
and due to the serious amounts of arguing I made Bubbles beanbag,
It hasn't stopped the arguing though :(
Turns out I still had some spare time to make this,
It's not quite finished as I think I made it too big, but I wont know till Flame visits! :p
Who knows maybe I will get motivated to sort out my Sewing/dining room! Jas hates going in there!
or not! :p

Third time lucky!
Seriously! Thats how long it took me to "get" the T-shirt right! It kind of became a mission... I would not be defeated!
Before I show you my triumph, first the other disaster!
It doesn't look too bad...But it's just not quite right round the bust and armpits. I read Kid MD's blog on how she did a Full Bust Adjustment on her pattern, and I googled because I'd never heard of that before (can't you tell I'm self-taught :p )and that looked way to complicated and why didn't I just measure the front bust and the back separately, and extend the bust down to the actual bustline, then make the back separately! Clever huh! When it came to sewing it together the front was understandably longer, so I pleated it slightly! This turned out not so clever, and the armpit seam is too far back and above the bust is baggy :(
So on to attempt 3!
It Fits! It is comfortably, yes it shows my bulge bitts but what doesn't! And how, you maybe asking yourself, did I finally achieve this? I followed the instructions! I concluded that maybe, just maybe she knew better, (and I read her advice on the Design-it-Yourself Group on Flickr). And it worked, now I can make loads of T-Shirts :)
What did I learn from this? I learned that the people who write the books know more than me, and I learned that I'm not the only person who's boobs aren't up by their armpits, and I leaned that I need to lose some weight!
So... Till next time.
Bright Blessings :x
